Welcome to Sailship Training & Learning for Life!
A charity supporting the whole community
We champion work & life skills training for people living with a learning disability.
We support therapeutic pathways for improved mental health and well-being for the wider community - people of all ages and offer dementia friendly spaces within our grounds.
We welcomed our first group for Grow a Friendship with Sailship in November 2023!
Residents of Penny Pot Care Home joined our Florist - Elle, in making their own Christmas wreath before enjoying a cuppa and a homemade cake, lovingly made by Sailship Trainees.
In December Penny Pot came along for their second visit!
This time enjoying a Christmas sing-a-long, a festive pass the parcel and a visit from Benson & Trudie, the Sailship therapy dogs.
Since the launch of GAFWS we have welcomed many residents of local care homes and local residents to our site to enjoy sing-a-long sessions, chair exercises, arts and crafts and delicious afternoon teas in the
Bay Cafe.
