Here we are with the festive season upon us again!

To start with we would like to say a huge thank you to all who attended our Christmas Fayre on Sat 14th!

Sailship has recently welcomed new members of staff to the team:

Carolyn is our new Receptionist and Site Administration Assistant for Sailship, working with Emily our Secretary and Administration Manager.

Tracey is our Project Coordinator for ‘Grow A Friendship with Sailship,’ our dementia friendly group. You may recognise Tracey as she is also a professional singer and has been performing around this area for many years. She has already made quite an impact at Sailship, arranging and hosting sing-alongs and Christmas craft and coffee mornings.

Brad is Sailship’s new Galley chef and minibus chauffeur. He is a professionally trained chef working in restaurants and catering management for schools and community run pubs in this area. Brad is a spider enthusiast and has seven tarantulas of his own! We know who to turn to when we get one of those HUGE harvest spiders indoors!

We would also like to welcome back Mark, who after his travels, has returned to the Sailship crew, back with Brie and the ‘Fit4life Together’ team.

Also, now truly settled into his role Stuart, Sailship’s Site Maintenance & Projects Supervisor is currently incredibly busy working on several big building projects around the site.

Trainees recently had a visit to a local Willow Farm to cut willow that has very kindly been donated to us for our projects on site. Big thank you to Spencer at Earls Colne farm.
