Sailship Accessible Pathway

We are thrilled to announce the completion of our new accessible pathway!

Funded by Active Essex and Colchester Catalyst, the path has been created for both Sailship and the public to complete the Golden Mile as part of our Sailship Active Together project. Participants will be able to walk, jog, wheelchair ride or even cycle (adaptive bikes only) the Golden Mile.

6 Laps = 1 Mile - That's the target ; ) Along the way you will be able to experience other aspects of the site whilst getting in those important steps.

Exercise and mental well being are so important and here at Sailship we aim to blend the two and create something special for all our visitors. Our staff and Trainees have recently had the honour of completing the first lap, here's to many more!

We will be celebration the grand opening of the path on Saturday 9th April at our Spring Fair (10am - 3pm - see our events page) with the ribbon being cut at 12 noon. We hope to see you there!
